Antique Mirrors adapted from Architectural Frames
Our Mirrors are all made from 18th & 19th Century Temple or Haveli doorways and windows or made up from antique lintels or architectural fretwork. These architectural doorway and window frames are in carved teak, acacia, rohida or iron wood. We also have beautiful smaller mirrors made from tribal shutter windows & antique Hindu shrine frames.
Architectural frames originating from Gujarat or South India tend to be decorated with faded, distressed paint tones, whereas carved pale teak characterises the style of antique frames from Rajasthan.
