Pair of 19th Century Satinwood Pillars, Kerala, South India

A very fine example of satinwood temple pillars dating from the late 19th Century Kerala.  The pillars have an eliptical sculptural shape and this style of South Indian temple pillar is typically without a separate base.  Separate to the pillar is a majestic satinwood capitol.
